- Before placing them in water, trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with a clean knife.
- Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline: they cloud the water quickly.
- Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems slightly each time.
- Keep them away from direct sun, heat sources, drafts and ripening fruit.
- Roses: if a head droops, re-trim the stem and let it rest in cool water for a few hours.
A standing spray built to be seen and felt, this arrangement gathers red roses, snapdragons, and carnations into a vivid, layered display, finished with lush greenery for depth. It measures approximately 23 inches wide by 46 inches high, though the easel pictured is sold separately.
Pieces like this are chosen to stand beside a casket or at a memorial service, offering warmth and grace during the hardest days.
For those who'd like to bring a piece of the arrangement home afterward, a simple mason jar or glass vase makes a lovely, low-key way to keep a few stems on display.
Fleur Concept designs each spray with care and offers same-day delivery across Canada, so support arrives exactly when it's needed most. Reach out today to arrange this thoughtful tribute.
