- Before placing them in water, trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with a clean knife.
- Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline: they cloud the water quickly.
- Add the included flower food sachet to fresh, room-temperature water.
- Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems slightly each time.
- Keep them away from direct sun, heat sources, drafts and ripening fruit.
- Roses: if a head droops, re-trim the stem and let it rest in cool water for a few hours.
Splendid Spring captures the freshness of the season in soft pastel pink, lavender, and yellow, blending pink spray roses and alstroemeria with yellow carnations and lavender cushion chrysanthemums. Compact and pretty, it measures approximately 9 inches wide by 13 inches high.
Perfect for celebrating spring, it's a graceful way to send a special friend the beauty and freshness of the season.
A mason jar or vase makes a nice optional add-on if you'd like it staged and ready to display right away.
