- Before placing them in water, trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with a clean knife.
- Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline: they cloud the water quickly.
- Add the included flower food sachet to fresh, room-temperature water.
- Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems slightly each time.
- Keep them away from direct sun, heat sources, drafts and ripening fruit.
- Roses: if a head droops, re-trim the stem and let it rest in cool water for a few hours.

Why Choose a Rose Gift?
A rose gift is not merely a flower; it represents love, passion, and admiration. When you give a rose, you convey deep emotions and sentiments that words sometimes cannot express. Roses signal affection, making them a perfect choice for occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, or romantic gestures. They are classic yet versatile, proving that simplicity can be truly elegant. So, if you're looking to surprise someone special, a rose gift is an excellent option!
Combining Roses with Thoughtful Cards
Adding a card to a rose gift significantly enhances the gesture. A heartfelt message written in a card can add a personal touch to your gift. Whether you're expressing love, gratitude, or simply sharing a wish, the combination of roses and cards creates a memorable experience. It shows you've put extra effort into your gift, ensuring it resonates with the recipient. Therefore, pairing a beautiful bouquet of roses with a carefully chosen card forms a thoughtful gift package.
Occasions for Giving Roses
Roses are suitable for a variety of occasions. You can give them for holidays like Valentine's Day, to celebrate a special anniversary, or simply to brighten someone's day. They are also appropriate for more casual celebrations, such as thanking a friend or colleague. Each rose color carries its own meaning, allowing you to convey specific messages. For example, red roses symbolize love, while yellow roses represent friendship. Thus, understanding these meanings can help you choose the ideal rose gift for your message.
