- Before placing them in water, trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with a clean knife.
- Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline: they cloud the water quickly.
- Add the included flower food sachet to fresh, room-temperature water.
- Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems slightly each time.
- Keep them away from direct sun, heat sources, drafts and ripening fruit.
- Roses: if a head droops, re-trim the stem and let it rest in cool water for a few hours.
A dozen extra long-stemmed red roses, specially grown to be large, plump, and robust, are joined by two accent filler flowers and fresh greens for a powerful, classic statement. These roses are built for lasting beauty, opening gradually for extended enjoyment.
Red roses remain the definitive symbol of love, passion, and romance, making this an easy pick for Valentine's Day.
A mason jar or vase is available to add at checkout so the roses have somewhere to go right away.
