- Before placing them in water, trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with a clean knife.
- Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline: they cloud the water quickly.
- Add the included flower food sachet to fresh, room-temperature water.
- Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems slightly each time.
- Keep them away from direct sun, heat sources, drafts and ripening fruit.
- Roses: if a head droops, re-trim the stem and let it rest in cool water for a few hours.
Lovestruck Combo III pairs one dozen long-stemmed red roses with a cuddly teddy bear and a 100g box of decadent Belgian truffles. A cheerful Mylar 'I Love You' balloon and a full-size LOVE greeting card complete the set.
It's a heartfelt fit for anniversaries, Valentine's Day, or simply any moment that calls for expressing deep affection.
Since a vase isn't included, it's worth adding one as an optional extra so the dozen roses have a beautiful place to settle the moment they arrive.
