- Before placing them in water, trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with a clean knife.
- Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline: they cloud the water quickly.
- Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems slightly each time.
- Keep them away from direct sun, heat sources, drafts and ripening fruit.
- Presented in a Mason jar: rinse it before the first fill, then top it up with fresh water.
- Hydrangeas: if the heads soften, submerge them in cool water for a few minutes.
- Roses: if a head droops, re-trim the stem and let it rest in cool water for a few hours.
Soft and serene as clouds against a clear sky, this all-white arrangement gathers plump white roses, elegant white hydrangea, delicate white spray roses, and white alstroemeria with white limonium, Israeli ruscus, and silver dollar eucalyptus. It arrives already arranged in a trendy Mason Jar standing 13 inches tall, ready to set down and enjoy.
Its calm, romantic palette makes it a lovely way to say I love you without words, or to bring quiet comfort to someone who needs it.
